Animatic

Animatic was finished yesterday. its been split up into 13 sections, each of us doing our own and using Adobe Premiere to merge them altogether.

Horrah! we've finially finished and we are pretty happy with it =)

Storyboards

Storyboards are finished. like the exposure sheets, we spilt it up into parts and have put them all together to form one huge storyboard

Exposure Sheets

Exposure sheets have finally been completed. we can now start to make the storyboard and the animatic!

we've split it all into different sections, each making up the exposure sheets for our own part and putting it altogether.

Final Script

Part 0/Opening (all):-

E-Ling, Natalie and Vix all enter class and walk to their own seats.

Camera:-
- Side shot of class with door opening and girls walking into room and off to their desks.


Part 1 (E-Ling):-

E-Ling comes in with a mafia mob, all looking shifty. She sits down, brings out her sketchbook and starts to draw.

Camera:-
- Mid shot of her sitting and drawing
- Close up of what she’s drawing.


Part 2 (Natalie):-

Natalie sits down at her desk and pulls out her sketch pad and pencil. She begins to draw manically all across the page. The finished product is a cat which jumps out the page and sits on the top of her head.

Camera:-
- Straight forward shot of her drawing - desk to top of head.


Part 3 (Vix):-

Vix walks to her desk, sits, and starts to draw in the paper pad she was holding. A Pirate, Knight and Musketeer can be seen on the page. She is rather focussed scribbling away with her tongue sticking out in concentration.

A cat's meow in the background makes her jump and she drops the pad on the floor.

As she reaches to get it, the Pirate she was drawing pops out from under the table.

Vix: Eh?!

Camera:-
- Normal shot of Vix drawing - desk to top of head.
- Pirate's got his sword readied - back to the camera.


Part 4 (Natalie):-

A evil grin appears across Natalie's face. She begins to draw again but this time its a big squiggle which pops out the page and starts to annoy the cat.

It then makes a beard on her face and changes into various other things before wandering off.

Camera:-

- Squiggle wanders off.


Part 5 (E-Ling):-

E-Ling is still drawing but on her second sketch (you can see she’s on her next page). Her first mecha/robot’s come to life and is moving about - backs off, steps on the resting cat's tail and the cat screams and runs off.

Camera:-
-Mid shot of her sitting and drawing. Mecha/Robot wandering around on the desk in the foreground.


Part 6 (Vix):-

Vix is now dressed as a Pirate too and readying her own sword.

Pirate: Yaaaar!

Vix: Yaaaaaaaaaaar!

They fight, hopping back and forwards, their swords clanging, for a small amount of time when suddenly the Pirate leers. Vix suddenly smiles victoriously.

Vix: You look like a monkey…. In a negligé!

Pirate: Yaaaaaargh!!!

Vix flicks his sword out his hand, which flies out of shot, and he is defeated.

Camera:-
- Mid shot of them fighting - profile view for both pirates.

Sulkily he reaches under the table and pulls out a Musketeer!

Camera:-
- Profile view of the Pirate from the front and desk by his side.

The Musketeer pings his moustache and is standing posing with his sword tip on the ground.

Musketeer: Hoh-hoh-hoh!

Camera:-
- Profile view of the Musketeer.

Vix now dressed in Musketeer regalia, readying her sword and the squiggle from Natalie's drawing page jumps on her face. Here it becomes a moustache and she chucks her hat off which flies of screen.

Vix: Indeed! En garde!

Camera:-
- Profile view of Vix.

They too have a sword fight. It last slightly longer.

Camera:-
- Mid profile shot of both fighting.


Part 7 (E-Ling):-

E-Ling is now on her third drawing (you can see she’s on a new page). Her second mecha/robot has also come to life and is fighting with the first mecha/robot. E-Ling suddenly notices while sketching and pirate's sword lands on her desk. One Mecha is pushed off screen and comes back seconds later riding the cat.

Part 8 (Vix):-

Vix and the Musketeer are still fighting. Vix is looking annoyed and slightly out of breath.

Camera:-
- Mid-shot of them fighting.

The Musketeer poses again, pings his moustache and laughs at her weakness.

Musketeer: Hoh-hoh-hoh-hoh!

Camera:-
- Profile of the Musketeer.

Vix glares at him, and then with one sweep of her sword she takes his moustache clean off. The Musketeer looks stunned and then devastated as he hangs his head in defeat.

Camera:-
Mid-shot of them.

Resigned, he reaches under the table and pulls out the Knight.

Camera:-
-Profile of Musketeer with desk at his side.

The Knight, who is silent and powerful, stands looking at her.

Camera:-
-Profile of the Knight.

Vix looks irritated. She is dressed now as a Knight too.

Vix: Another…?!

Camera:-
- Profile of Vix.


Part 9 (Natalie):-

Finally Natalie draws a demon creature in great detail and sits the sketch book down.

Camera:-
- Shot of Natalie drawing - desk to top of head.

Natalie's demon crawls out of the sketch book and grins. She pounces on the creature and a little heart appears above her head. In the background all hell is breaking lose. The demon then joins in with the madness and she goes back to draw more.

Camera:-
- Waist shot of chibi Natalie hugging the waist of the demon.
- Mid shot of Natalie drawing - desk to top of head.


Part 10 (Vix):-

Vix is looking victorious and drinking orange juice, standing with one leg on the defeated Knight. Her helmet is under her arm. The Musketeer and Pirate are in awe of the Knight, who failed miserably when he should have won. A Mafia member leans in to see what is happening.

Camera:-
- Mid-shot of scene.


Part 11 (E-Ling):-

There are now three mecha/robots running around, fighting each other but E-Ling is controlling the third mecha/robot with her drawing equipment as a control pad.

Lots of mess/ explosion/ dangerous things happen.

Camera:-
- Mid-shot of the commotion.


Part 12/Ending (all):-

The lecturer of the class walks in through the door. He looks at the chaos and is about to yell.

Natalie rubs his mouth out to stop him scream at the three girls.

Camera:-
- Long shot of door slamming open. figure comes out and turns out to be the lecturer.
- Long shot of the girls all standing next to each other. Natalie reaches up and rubs something out.
- Close up of the lecturer's face, looking down to his "mouth"
- Close up of girls all giggling.

CREDITS (all):-

Animator's names appear over giggling girl's heads.
